The Artisan's at Peacock Artistic Finishes strive to give their client the best job that they can possibly achieve, paying great attention to detail. Comprised of three generations.... mother, daughter, granddaughter, working together and combining our talents. No job is too small or large, as we have additional assistant's that are brought in when needed, tapping into their area of expertise.
We specialize in the application of authentic, all natural, eco-friendly products manufactured byPrimo Sustainable Products. Their eco-friendly finishes are created using centuries of old formulas consisting of aged lime putty, crushed marble, and other binders. All of the products are made in the USA using regional raw materials, which in turn helps them offer lower prices. As their company name indicates, they are interested in providing products that are ecologically friendly and help maintain a healthy environment. They take pride in producing plaster, lime paint, and wax sealer products that contain very little to no V.O.C.'s (volatile organic compounds). In fact, lime is a natural biocide and is resistant to the growth of mold and mildew. These lime putty, plasters, and lime paints are produced in small batches by hand and are packaged in recyclable containers.
Primo Sustainable Products natural finishes are ideal for use in both commercial and residential projects and they meet the requirements for the green building construction. Classes are available to teach the finishes we apply for our clients. Students range from people wanting to do something in their own home, to professionals, adding a new look to their portfolio. We teach techniques allowing you to achieve the subdued, basic finishes of the old world, to the elegant trends that you see in show homes and magazines. The warmth, beauty, and textures achieved far exceed traditional painting and faux finishing techniques. After taking a class, you can come away with the knowledge and confidence of how to apply these finishes for your personal use or career. We keep our classes small so that each student gets one-on-one detailed instructions.
Online help is available to our students with detailed instructions by e-mail, photos, or phone, when you need help. There are many crucial times when you might be in the middle of the job and need answers fast!
